Dr.'s Appts

Libby had her 6 month check-up on Tuesday. She weighed 13.9 lbs. Dr. Hawkins said she looked great, and that she is very advanced for 6 months. (Well, she didn't actually say this, but I know she was thinking that-Ha!) Frances went for her 3 year appt at the same time. She weighed 24 lbs. She is in the 1%. I've been worried about her huge tonsils for a while and had Dr. Hawkins look at them. Well, they have to come out. Dr. H said that when your tonsils are that big, it is hard to get into a deep sleep-when you do they close up and you have to wake yourself up into a lighter sleep. You are constantly working in your sleep! Poor little Frances has been burning calories like crazy just sleeping. Hopefully once their out, she'll pack on some pounds. Dr. H said that she's just a petite little girl, but this will definently help her put a little weight on. It will also hopefully help with her "not so precious" attitude when she wakes up some mornings. Dr. H said that she looked great too-very healthy. I took the girls to Calvert's today for pics--they both did great-can't wait to see the pics!
